Area teens explored health professions at a summer day camp sponsored by two university departments.

Forty eighth- and ninth-graders participated in the Summer Health Activities and Professions Exploration (sHaPe) camp, which ended July 17 at the Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences.

Sponsored by the College of Health Professions and the Regional Math and Science Center, campers learned about medical laboratory science, occupational therapy, physical therapy, physician assistant, public health, radiation therapy, sonography, speech pathology, sports medicine, and therapeutic recreation.
