Wilson named to national, local boards

Miles Wilson, director of philanthropic and nonprofit services at Grand Valley State University’s Dorothy A. Johnson Center for Philanthropy, has been named to two prestigious nonprofit boards.

Wilson was appointed to the national Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance, where he will serve a three year term on the board’s audit committee. He was also named a trustee of the Grand Rapids Community Foundation board, and will serve a four-year term.

Wilson has been at the Johnson Center since 2009, and was previously vice president of programs at The Greater Cincinnati Foundation, and a program director at the Omidyar Foundation.
