More than 260 interns from Grand Valley and other West Michigan colleges competed at the fourth annual Summer Internship Olympics, held at the Pew Grand Rapids Campus June 22.

Students who are participating in summer internships at Amway, Bissell Homecare, Steelcase, Gordon Food Service, Spectrum Health, Meijer, Perrigo and Wolverine Worldwide competed in teams to complete a scavenger hunt throughout downtown Grand Rapids.

They also heard a presentation from Rob Bliss, from Rob Bliss Productions. Bliss spoke to participants about the importance of having an entrepreneurial spirit and working to promote and support Grand Rapids and West Michigan.
