Watergate: A scandal begat by war

The Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies at Grand Valley State University and the Gerald R. Ford Foundation and the Ford Museum will co-host the 1000 Day Lecture Series, beginning tonight, August 3, at 8 p.m., at the Gerald R. Ford Museum Auditorium with John H. Taylor, executive director of the Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace Foundation.

Taylor, who was Nixons chief aide, spokesperson and personal assistant, will explore Nixons wartime presidency and how the Vietnam War has political significance today. He will also examine how the mindset for war was at the root of Watergate.
