Name change for Community Outreach Office

After seven years of operating under the title of Community Outreach Office in the College of Education, the name will change to Center for Educational Partnerships.
Claudia Sowa Wojciakowski, director of the center, said the name change is due in part to the ever-growing work and partnerships with area schools, organizations and businesses.
“We came to realize that a majority of our work was not about just going out into the communities the COE serves and working, but with actually developing partnerships that provide greater value to all of those involved,” she said. “We’ve gone from being an office that provides resources to being a strong connector in helping schools and other groups actually achieve their goals and success by linking them with key partners.”
