Burke elected national ODK officer

Michelle Burke

Michelle Burke, director of Student Life, was elected national vice president of the Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honor society, at the organization's conference in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Burke serves as advisor of Grand Valley’s Circle of ODK. At the conference, she also received the Eldridge W. Roark Meritorious Service Award, recognizing her leadership and service.

Burke served on ODK’s inaugural National Advisory Council for two years before being elected vice president. Burke helped lead Grand Valley’s ODK Circle to four consecutive Superior Circle Awards and the Presidential Award of Excellence.

On campus, ODK members assist with the “I Am Grand Valley” award and the Leadership Summit.
