Work continues on several major construction projects on the Allendale Campus.

Projects currently underway include the completion of the Mary Idema Pew Library Learning and Information Commons, renovations to Zumberge Library, and the construction of the Science Laboratory Building.

Opening in fall 2013, the Mary Idema Pew Library will connect students, resources, and technology and change the face of education at Grand Valley.

The Science Lab Building will be a four-story building covering more than 151,000 square feet. It will feature nine classrooms, 15 teaching laboratories, 14 student/faculty research laboratories, a greenhouse, offices and study space.

Additions and renovations to Zumberge Library are scheduled to be completed in May 2014, and will increase the size of the building to just under 95,000 square feet. It will reopen as a centrally located administration building called James H. Zumberge Hall.
