Faculty and Staff Campaign includes opportunities to extend gifts

Grand Valley employees who make a contribution before April 15 to the annual Faculty and Staff Campaign will be entered into a drawing that will extend their gift by $500.

Heather Rowan, manager of campus philanthropy, said the drawing for three Challenge Grants will allow recipients to choose the fund they would like to receive an additional $500.

Last year, nearly 51 percent of all faculty and staff members gave to the annual campaign, raising $806,404 for various resources and services utilized by students like scholarships, student success programs and the Student Support Fund, which provides emergency financial assistance.

Faculty and staff members can choose the convenience of payroll deduction for their gift and Rowan added Grand Valley will provide a match for gifts to endowed funds. The campaign ends on June 30.
