Freshman Academy students recognize outstanding faculty, staff

Students in the Oliver Wilson Freshman Academy recognized outstanding faculty and staff members at the academy's banquet.

Three faculty members were recognized: Paul Yu, associate professor of mathematics; Ayana Weekley, assistant professor of women, gender and sexuality studies; and Maureen Wolverton, affiliate faculty of liberal studies. V'Lecea Hunter, enrollment development counselor, was recognized as a staff member.

The academy was established in 2003 to provide comprehensive academic support to students.
