College of Education Graduate Student Receives SITE Award

After rigorous review by the Program Committee and Program Chairs, the Society for Information Technology & Teacher Education, selected Mario Adkins as the recipient of a SITE 2014 The Honorable Mention Poster Award for his poster "How Video Games and Digital Literacy Impacts Student Achievement and Development: An Analysis of Synergistic Integration." He was recognized at the keynote presentation at SITE's annual conference in March 2014. His paper is also designated as an Outstanding Poster in the Educational & Information Technology Library: https://EdITLib.org
SITE selected Mario's poster out of 1,500 potential conference choices. Only 6 standout poster presentations received this designation. Mario is a graduate student in the College Student Affairs Leadership emphasis in the Higher Education graduate program.
