Description
Big Data Ignite is a Michigan nonprofit based in Grand Rapids. Their mission is to provide education and training in those areas of data-intensive computing technology that hold the greatest potential for innovation and competitive advantage. Current areas of focus include large-scale data management, predictive analytics, machine learning, cloud computing, and the internet of things. They seek to establish Michigan as a recognized center-of-excellence in these areas. They achieve their mission through conferences, workshops, and technical user-groups.
This two-day event will include keynote speaker Sasha Issenberg, author of The Victory Lab: The Secret Science of Winning Campaigns and The Victory Lab: A Report from the Campaign Trail. Both books highlight stories from the campaign trails in 2012 and 2016.
