The Central City Weed & Seed Youth Committee supports local teen initiatives, provides a table for collaboration between such diverse groups as the Community Probation Officers and Faith Based Neighborhood Organizations and organizes a number of annual community wide events.  For 2009 the following events are being planned: career fair, a random acts of kindness day, and a celebratory teen summit day.   Other youth initiatives include the year around program - The Lies That Bind and a partnership with B.J. Holmes, author of "Donnie and the Little Brown Shoes."  If you are interested in supporting the youth of our community, please come check us out.  Our meeting minutes and agendas are below.
