Role of the U.S. Attorney’s Office – Western District of Michigan in the Weed & Seed Program

The U.S. Attorney's Office of the Western District of Michigan provides the Central City Weed & Seed site with a Law Enforcement Site Coordinator.  This contact person is assigned to work with the Central City Weed & Seed programs as the strategies are implemented, as well as provide linkages to the Grand Rapids Police Department and Central City site regarding the Project Safe Neighborhoods initiative, as it becomes a major component of the Weed and Seed strategy, providing support of numerous federal law enforcement agencies.
