Mission of the Get the Lead Out!

Get the Lead Out! is part of the Healthy Homes Coalition, with the primary goal of reducing the number of homes affected by lead poisoning.

Role of the Get the Lead Out! in the Weed & Seed Program

Get the Lead Out! has partnered with the Central City Weed & Seed site to reduce the number of homes within the Central City area susceptible to lead problems and continues to serve the community through the Healthy Homes Coalition.  Because of the focus of lead abatement in recent years, lead poisoning is much less of a problem than in the past.
