Neland Avenue Christian Reformed ChurchMission of the Neland Avenue Christian Reformed ChurchTo make the Gospel a reality in our congregation, our neighborhood, our city and our world. Role of the Neland Avenue Christian Reformed Church in the Weed & Seed ProgramNeland Avenue CRC is a safe haven site for Central City Weed & Seed. Neland is part of the South East End Neighborhood and participates in many community events. The church supports year-round youth programming providing both in-school and after-school reading and tutoring programs. College financial assistance is available to students who participate in the church's programs. Neland has been instrumental in addressing the issues of young men who need a safe place to gather. The young men are offered life skill classes, strength training, recreation, mentoring, and educational support as well as woodworking classes.
