Eastown Community Association

Mission of the Eastown Community Association
The Eastown Community Association (ECA) is a private, non-profit organization governed by an elected Board of Directors.  The ECA is dedicated to building, backing, and broadening community through proactive neighboring and community improvement.
Role of the Eastown Community Association in the Weed & Seed Program

The Eastown Community Association provides a representative to the Weed and Seed steering committee, Pamela Benjamin, currently serving as Chair of the steering committee.  As a neighborhood association that represents residents in Central City, it is responsible for assisting in developing strategies for applications, progress reports for the site, working with residents and assisting in getting information out within the community, and working with Community Police and Juvenile Probation officers on Weed and Seed related strategies.
