Mission of the Baxter Neighborhood Association

The Baxter Neighborhood Assocation serves the Baxter neighborhood bounded by Wealthy on the North, Franklin on the South, Eastern on the West and Fuller on the East.  Baxter, in its entirety, is included in the Weed & Seed boundaries. 

Role of the Baxter Neighborhood Association in the Weed & Seed Program

The Baxter Neighborhood Association provides a representative to the Weed and Seed steering committee, Marian Barrera-Young.  As a neighborhood association that represents residents in Central City, it is responsible for assisting in developing strategies to address community identified issues, working with residents and assisting in getting information out within the community while working with Community Police and Juvenile Probation officers on Weed and Seed related strategies.
