The Central City Weed & Seed Women and Violence Committee supports local efforts to reduce the incidences of domestic violence within the community.  The committee provides a table for collaboration between local agencies, residents, businesses, the faith based community and the Grand Rapids Police Department.

The organization is currently in the planning stages for 2009/2010.  In the past three years efforts have been primarily focused on a Domestic Violence Conference.  We are looking forward at other possible iniatives.  If you are interested in supporting these efforts, please come check us out.  Our meeting minutes and agendas are below.
