Alpha Tau Omega Charters at GVSU

Congratulations go out to Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, who received their national charter, and initiated 54 members into the Fraternity.

After three semesters of hard work, the GVSU colony of Alpha Tau Omega officially became the Kappa Lambda Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega.

The occasion was kicked off with the initiation of new members, and culminated with a banquet hosted by the chapter. In addition to family, and friends, national officers of the Fraternity, including Wynn Smiley, CEO and members of the Board of Trustees were in attendance.

With their chartering, Grand Valley's Interfraternity Council (IFC) community now includes a total of six fraternities.

Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity was founded at the Virginia Military Institute on September 11, 1865.
