GVSU Chapter of Delta Sigma Phi wins Pyramid of Excellence and more awards Welcome to the Fraternities and Sororities have held a prominent place at Grand Valley State University for over 40 years. This community of young men and women plays a critical role in enhancing the quality of life at Grand Valley while supporting the academic success of students. Students in our fraternities and sororities enjoy many benefits including academic achievement, service to our community, creaton of social networks, a focus on diversity, and the enhancement of leadership development skills. With more than 600 undergraduate students participating in more than 20 chapters, the men and women of the fraternity and sorority community have been, and will continue to be, a major influence at Grand Valley State University.
