The Office of Sponsored Programs, under the Center for Scholarly and Creative Excellence (CSCE) umbrella, serves as Grand Valley State University's central office that supports faculty and staff in the identification, development, submission, and administration of externally sponsored agreements for scholarly research and creative activity.
Our services include: Funding searches designed to match proposed projects and goals Obtaining the University's commitment to a project Proposal development support, guidance and submission Negotiation and execution of contracts and sub-awards Acceptance and processing of awards Interpretation of guidelines, requirements, and terms and conditions Grant and contract training and workshops.
The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) uses Cayuse424 to provide proposal development and electronic submission through Grants.gov and now Research.gov. Cayuse424 is a System-to-System web-based platform which speeds up the submission process and reduces the risk of errors.
