Grants.gov

Grants.gov is chartered to provide a simple, unified electronic storefront for interactions between grant applicants and the Federal agencies that manage grant funds. Currently, Grants.gov is a central storehouse for information on over 1,000 grant programs and provides access to approximately $500 billion in annual awards.

Grand Valley State University, Office of Sponsored Programs, is registered with Grants.gov. An individual Principal Investigator does NOT register with Grants.gov.

The Office of Sponsored Programs utilizes Cayuse424 to submit proposals system-to-system to Grants.gov.

Grants.gov provides:

  • A single source and a standardized manner to find funding opportunities
  • A single, secure and reliable source for applying for Federal grants online.
  • A simplified grant application process with reduction of paperwork.
  • A unified interface for all agencies to announce their grant opportunities, and for all grant applicants to find and apply for those opportunities.

If you will be submitting a proposal through Grants.gov, please contact the Office of Sponsored Programs.
