The Office of Sponsored Programs, under the Center for Scholarly and Creative Excellence (CSCE) umbrella, serves as Grand Valley State University's central office that supports faculty and staff in the identification, development, submission, and administration of externally sponsored agreements for scholarly research and creative activity.
Our services include: Funding searches designed to match proposed projects and goals Obtaining the University's commitment to a project Proposal development support, guidance and submission Negotiation and execution of contracts and sub-awards Acceptance and processing of awards Interpretation of guidelines, requirements, and terms and conditions Grant and contract training and workshops.
The Fundamentals of Sponsored Agreements (SPA) Training Workshop to be held on September 21-23, 2015 has been postponed until May 18-20, 2016. In response to your suggestions, we chose to postpone the workshop to May, 2016 in order to allow more faculty members to attend as the traditional academic year will have come to a close. Registration information will be available following the new year.
