Dr. Ben Lockerd is the author of Aethereal Rumours: T. S. Eliot’s Physics and Poetics (Lewisburg, PA: Bucknell U. P., 1998).  For several years he wrote the yearly review of Eliot scholarship for American Literary Scholarship.  He has served as Vice President and later President of the international T. S. Eliot. He also edited a collection of essays entitled T. S. Eliot and Christian Tradition (Fairleigh Dickinson UP, 2014).

This seminar will study Eliot’s poetry, plays, and also his prose writing (especially literary criticism and cultural essays).
