Grand Valley students traditionally give back to the university during their time on campus through the Student Legacy campaign. It’s the Grand Valley way to take care of each other, and students demonstrate that every year through their gifts to future Lakers.

The Student Legacy Scholarship

The Student Legacy Scholarship, established by Grand Valley’s Student Senate in 2007, is awarded to undergraduates who are considered to be the “typical Grand Valley student.”  That profile includes those who exhibit a commitment to both academic achievement and community service on and off campus.  In 2012, $1,000 was awarded to 10 outstanding students, enabling them to continue their Grand Valley experience!

 

It is important that we contribute to the community we are so proud to be a part of.  No matter the size of your gift – every donation will make a difference.  Carry on the proud tradition of philanthropy that has made this university great and support future generations of Lakers!
