Roger Andersen was born in Muskegon and graduated from University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering. He then went on to graduate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Master of Science in industrial management. He worked his way from a sales position to president and chairman of the board over 32 years at Lakeshore Machinery and Supply Company and is now retired as president of Peninsular Investment Co. He serves as a director for the Grand Valley University Foundation, and was as the co-chair of the Lake Michigan Center Campaign, campaign committee member for the Richard M. DeVos Center and Robert B. Annis Water Resources Institute, and honorary executive committee member of the WGVU Digital Campaign. Back to Foundation Leadership.
