Karen Loth was appointed to Vice President for Development at Grand Valley State University in May 2012. Prior to her current position, she served as the Assistant Vice President for Development for 12 years. Since joining the university in 2000, Karen has led 12 campaigns, helping to raise more than $235 million dollars for Grand Valley in the past 15 years. Karen received her BA from Michigan State University in English and her MA from Western Michigan University in Educational Leadership. Before joining University Development at Grand Valley, she worked at Aquinas College. Karen is involved with the Economic Club of Grand Rapids, West Michigan 100 Strong, and is an alumnus of Leadership West Michigan.
