Elizabeth Welch

Elizabeth Welch practices labor and employment law (representing small to mid-size companies and nonprofit organizations) in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Elizabeth received her law degree from Ohio State University, and her undergraduate degree from Penn State University. Elizabeth is the immediate past president and current board member of the Michigan League of Conservation Voters, vice president of the East Grand Rapids Public Schools Board, and a trustee of the Steelcase Foundation. She also serves as co-chair of the Friends of Kent County Schools Grassroots Committee, for which she regularly meets with parent groups and advocates for public education around the state.

She has served on many nonprofit boards in West Michigan and is a graduate of the Leadership Grand Rapids program. In 2009, she was honored as one of the Grand Rapids Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” Business Leaders. In 2010, she received the Women Lawyers of Michigan – Western Region Outstanding Member Award.
