Daniel J. Hurwitz

Daniel (Dan) Hurwitz was born and raised in Lexington, MA and attended Union College. He moved to Grand Rapids to run his family business, Rogers Department Store. In 2003, he opened Daniel’s, an award winning men’s and women’s specialty clothing store. In addition to his service for the Grand Valley University Foundation and the Grand Valley University Foundation Community Leadership Committee, he serves as a trustee of the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Foundation, The Jewish Federation of Grand Rapids and Local First. Dan currently serves as the Senior Director of Community Support (adjunct) at Grand Valley State University.
