I was a cheerleader so spent much time at the fieldhouse and was fortunate enough to travel to Elon, NC with the football team and also with the basketball team to Kansas City. Many happy memories of being a student at GVSC. I remember seeing Mr. Lubbers in the stands many times. He also went to high school in Holland along with my mother, Audrey (Nyland) Whipple.
