Adding a Course to a Theme

1.  Identify a course you  want to create or already exists.

2.  Complete the paperwork for a new course or course change.

3.  Complete  the paperwork for General Education where you outline how the class will meet skills and theme objectives (paperwork for items 2 and 3 are found at the Faculty Governance website).

4.  Send material to the Theme Coordinator.  The Theme Coordinator should consult with Theme instructors.  Following consultation, send an email to the General Education Subcommittee chair - Frank Ward.

5.  The paperwork goes to Unit and Division Curriculum committees and then to UCC who routes it to the General Education Subcommittee.

6.  After the General Education Subcommittee reviews it, UCC reviews it and then forwards it to the Provost.
