Earth and the Environment

This theme examines the environment from a variety of disciplines. Perspectives are personal, cultural, regional, national, and global,  and they range in time from "here and now" to billions of years.

The purpose of the theme is to increase the student's knowledge of the importance of the environment and to produce citizens who make informed environmental and political decisions.
