Teaching as Performance Part II: Hands-On!

The performance aspect of teaching can be both daunting and exhilarating. Like it or not, when we walk into a classroom we walk onto a "stage" of sorts, yet, as scholars, we are not trained very well for this aspect of our job. Performing artists are well versed in the strategies and the preparation required for successful delivery. This will be an entirely "hands on workshop" in which participants will practice the performer's strategies that will maximize delivery and make the classroom more vibrant and dynamic.
