Information: I have been working as a Locations Assistant on feature films and music videos. I recently relocated to Los Angeles, California. I reside in a small apartment in Koreatown. Words of Wisdom: Start working on movies, don't be afraid to do a few freebies to get started, and never ever park on set.
Information: Multimedia artist and Flash animator at Media 1. Words of Wisdom: Don't listen to anybody but yourself. If they tell you that you can't do something, they don't know what they are talking about.
InInformation: Currently working as a production assistant on a film called SWAT with Samuel L. Jackson and Colin Farrell. Also has worked on re-shoots of Hollywood Homicide. Words of Wisdom: Work on as many projects as you can while in school, seeking them out when possible, and getting experience in as many areas that interest you. Experience is invaluable. If wishing to move to one of the film meccas upon graduation (LA or NY), make an effort to get an internship in that place while still a student. It is imperative to have some connections when starting off unless you love working for free.
Information: Works as a Media Designer with C2 Media Production Group in Grandville, MI, where she designs and develops websites and interactive CD-ROMs. Also designs and edits the quarterly newsletter "Frame by Frame" for the ASIFA Central Animation Organization. |
