Family Business Alliance is proud to offer the programs and services listed below to member family-owned firms. Check here often...new projects are in the works!
One-to-One Assistance with an Executive Partner volunteer -
Need a confidante to answer all of those “What if…?”, “How do I….?”, “What did you do when…?” questions? Someone who has "been there" and "done that"? Executive Partner volunteers may fit the bill. They’re business executives, either active or retired, who have been effective in their own family-owned firms and want to share what they have learned. They are excellent listeners and are willing to provide insight and wisdom, free to Alliance members. Not yet a member? Try our Step In,Step Up offer for non-members: 3 sessions or up to 6 months before Alliance membership is required. Details...
Family Connections Peer+ Groups
Participants are placed in a group with 6-9 peers from non-competing businesses. The groups meet monthly in a confidential setting and discuss issues of vital interest to their businesses. Build on the knowledge base that exists in the West Michigan family-owned business community and tap into the knowledge and experience of your peers! We began in June of 2008 gathering rising leaders into Next Generation groups. We hope to offer similar opportunities for spouses in the coming year.
Boardroom Chats Kickoff - 2009
One-off discussions on hot family business issues in a small group setting. Eight-10 Alliance members led by local family business executives who have experience in the matter at hand. Facilitated by Dr. Camille Donnelly, Donnely Leadership Counseling, and Ellie Frey, FBA Director. FBA thanks Len Slott and Vi-Chem for hosting the series. Free to members. If you are interested in any or all of the above, contact Ellie Frey or call 616-331-6827. |
