Disher is a medium sized engineering service company. They mainly work in mechanical engineering but have started a division for electronics, talent attraction, marketing.
Description of the Tasks/Projects Completed
Sadly the project that I worked on this semester is confidential. I can only say that during this semester I worked with AC Phase control using microcontrollers, wiring harnesses and signal control. This project was one of the most difficult that I have ever worked on and I was lucky to learn so much!
Skills/Knowledge Gained Through The Experience
I had never worked with AC voltages before so I gained valuable experience there. I also had never created a wire harness either. Both of these experiences were great learning opportunities.
Favorite Part of the Experience
My favorite part of this co-op experience was working with co-workers. They were great and I learned a lot from them.
How the Experience Influenced Future Career Goals
It has made me more sure that I want to work at Disher!
