RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Environmental exercise physiology

Musculoskeletal injury assessment

Applied sport science – athlete monitoring, recovery strategies

CURRENT PROJECTS:

  • Validation of segmental BIA to detect and assess severity of acute musculoskeletal injuries in collegiate athletes
  • Use of accelerometer and GPS devices to monitor internal and external load during practice and game-play
  • Role of commercially-available recovery drink following HIIT on physiological function and perceptual responses
  • Effectiveness of localised percussive therapy both pre- and post-exercise
