How do I contact Event Services to reserve space for my event?

You can reserve space in person at the Event Services desk in the Office of Student Life, which is located at 1110 Kirkhof Center. The office is in the hallway across from the 20/20 information desk. You can also call 331-2350 and talk to an Event Services desk assistant between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm Monday through Friday.

How do I reserve a lobby table in Kirkhof for my student organization?

Kirkhof lobby tables are available to student organizations and must be reserved through Event Services. You must specify the type of event (fundraiser, bake sale, sales & solicitation, etc.) and fill out the appropriate forms. A food waiver form must be filled out for any bake sale or for an event where food is being brought in that is not provided by campus dining. A sales and solicitation form must be filled out if your organization is handing out flyers or any type of literature. Click here for policies and forms. How do I reserve a lobby table in Henry Hall Atrium for my student organization?

Henry Hall Atrium lobby tables are also available to student organizations and must be reserved through Event Services. You must specify the type of event (fundraiser, bake sale, sales & solicitation, etc.) and fill out the appropriate forms. Click here for policies and forms. Where are the open forum areas for organizations to use?

On the Allendale Campus two designated locations. The first area is the circle drive/sidewalk area around the Cook Carillon Tower. The second area is the academic mall area within 50 feet of the sculpture Transformational Link (the blue sculpture). Use of these areas may be scheduled as an event space through Event Services. Can I bring in food from a vendor that is not part of Grand Valley campus dining?

In order to bring any food into the building that is not ordered from campus dining, a food waiver form must be filled out and returned to campus dining to be approved. Food waivers are available in the campus dining office located in the lower level of Kirkhof Center near River Landing.
