As part of our third annual Women and Politics series, the Women's Center presents "Women In Local Politics".

In the state of Michigan women are highly underrepresented in political office. This program will give women who have served in elected office an opportunity to share their experiences; sometimes as being the only woman at the table. The panel of current and past elected leaders will be facilitated by Shannon Garrett, an expert in women's political leadership.

Classes are encouraged to attend!
