The Wheelhouse Talks lecture series is a component of the Peter Cook Leadership Academy, a leadership development experience for students, within the Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies. The Wheelhouse Talks feature local community leaders who are eager to share their perspectives on philosophy and experience with leadership. Troy Evans is a transformational pastor, guiding at-risk youth from gangs to faith. He is a former dropout, gang founder, and crime leader, who fled to change his life. As the founder of The Edge Urban Fellowship, he has been forming the Hip-Hop Culture for the Kingdom of God, and is the author of The Edge of Redemption, a book telling the story of his own transformation.
