Prints and Ancillary Objects from the GVSU Art Gallery's Print & Drawing Cabinet

Description:

Each year since 2005, the GVSU Art Gallery Print and Drawing Cabinet (PDC) has invited a well-known artist to collaborate with Calder Art Center printmaking faculty, David Keister, Dellas Henke and Steven Sorman and their students to produce a limited edition print. One print from each edition, preliminary drawings, printing elements and proofs are added to the PDC's permanent collection. Printmakers will highlight the fascinating processes involved in printmaking and the finished prints of visiting artists Steven Sorman 2005, Sue Coe 2006, David Shapiro 2007, Karen Kunc 2008, Terry Winters 2009 and Endi Poskovik 2010. This exhibit is being held in conjunction with the GVSU 50th Anniversary and is free and open to the public. For more information call the Art Gallery at 616-331-2563.
