This LIB 100 & 201 approved program will feature the film "License to Thrive: Title IX", which explores the unique history of of the Title IX of the Education Amendments legislation. It explains the history of the Title IX and it’s role in providing educational access and opportunity for women and young girls throughout the United States. It also examines the critical role Title IX has played over the past few decades in creating female leaders.
Following the film, panel members will discuss issues related to Title IX as well as be available for Q & A and discussion. Panel members include:
