Hello film lovers!

This week we are very excited to being in a guest speaker! We will watch the 2003 film "Elephant" directed by Gus Van Sant. The film deals with the events surrounding a fictional high school shooting, based in part on the 1999 Columbine High School massacre. The screening will be followed by a discussion lead by Professor Christine Yalda form the School of Criminal Justice.

Professor Yalda will give us some context to the film in order for us to discuss it thoroughly. Put on your thinking hats and come on out to what is sure to be a great event!
