They will also experience the rich Dominican culture through excursions to Santo Domingo, a city with gorgeous architecture and a rich history; La Romana, home the vibrant artist community Altos de Chavón; Bayahibe, a fishing village with white sand beaches; and Saona Island, part of the Parque Nacional del Este. Other cultural activities include group dance lessons, visits to museums, craft factories, Haitian markets, and more.
