S3 grants provide a $3,000 student stipend and a small budget for materials and travel expenses. Faculty mentors can receive up to a $2,500 stipend.
The application is a collaborative effort between the potential student scholar and faculty mentor. Apply online at www.gvsu.edu/ours/s3/ by January 24, 2014. The online application system opens November 1, 2013, and closes at 11:59 PM, January 24, 2014.
