The Global Cardboard Challenge is an initiative of the Imagination Foundation. Inspired by the short film, "Caine's Arcade," the Cardboard Challenge is a worldwide celebration of child creativity and the role communities can play in fostering it. This year's Challenge aims to engage 1 million children in 70 countries in creative play. The goal of the challenge is for students to build simple arcade games out of cardboard, recycled materials, and imagination.
On Tuesday, May 20th students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to the Clock Tower to celebrate GVSU's Spring Global Cardboard Challenge. Rain location will be Kirkhof.
Tickets for a fun pass (Unlimited play) are $1.00. The fall and winter semesters’ GVSU Cardboard Challenges raised $350.00 for the Imagination Foundation.
