A panel discussion will be moderated by Levi Rickert (Native News Network) that explores another look at what is known as Columbus Day in much of the U.S. Panelists will discuss the historical and social impact of the colonization of the Americans, as well as current movements that challenge the holiday like the Dia de la Raza movement. Students are encouraged to interact with the panel through questions and discussion. The program will also include a local artist and drum circle
