This event is for students who are interested in learning more about the Health Professions Scholarship Program through the U.S. military.
LTC (P) Thomas R. Hustead is a native of Manchester, N.H. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1993, he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree and graduated in the top 3% of his class. Following West Point, he attended Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine with a Health Professions Scholarship Program scholarship where he earned his M.D. degree. Upon graduation in May of 1997 he was commissioned in the Regular Army to the rank of captain. He went on to complete his internship and residency in Family Medicine at Dewitt Army Community Hospital in Fort Belvoir, VA from 1997-
2000 where he served as the chief resident his 3rd year of training and was selected as the Most Outstanding Resident at graduation in June of 2000.
