Description:
What Will I Learn?
· You will learn strategies on how to write strong personal statements and statements of purpose that will engage a selection committee’s attention and make you stand out from the crowd!
Why Is It Important?
· Most scholarships and fellowships require you to write a personal statement or statement of purpose. They are designed to give the selection committee a sense of who you are and how closely your goals and strengths match the ideals of a specific award, so they are a crucial part of your application.
What Should I Bring?
A draft of your statement, if you have one. Writing consultants will be available to help you generate and develop ideas for your statement throughout this
hands-on workshop.
