Description

This workshop on 'Navigating the Politics of Workplace Topics' is intended for students only

Navigating the Politics of Workplace Topics is a role-playing/interactive session where students will have the opportunity to practice verbally navigating various topics that may come up in the workplace. Learn how to either participate in the conversations respectfully (non-offensive) or develop techniques on how to gracefully bow out of them. Explore subjects such as: politics, same sex, gender/women differentiation, religion, multi-generational (age biases), race and cultural differences, salary/benefit information and social media postings.

Facilitated by Marybeth Atwell, a veteran Clinical Psychotherapist, and Michael DeWilde, Director of the Koeze Business Ethics Initiative and Professor of Philosophy.
